About
Sitorimon hails from Harlow, Essex and is a singer/songwriter/musician that has his roots firmly placed in the alternative world. His music is varied and crosses over from electronica to ancient tribal pieces to just vocal and piano tracks. Sitorimon plays almost every instrument you’ll hear in the songs too making his works completely his own.
Sitorimon first ventured into singing and songwriting at an early age as a hobby whilst writing poetry and winning various local and national competitions, eventually self-publishing his own complete childhood poetry collection at the age of 19 after keeping them hidden for several years. Some of those poems have eventually gone on to becomes songs.
From there while writing songs, he began to find his fun music side, using “E-Jay” products to make fun electronic based albums. Over 100 songs were released over 8 albums and receieved thousands of downloads, mp3.com successes with “Summer Nights” and “El Maestro” and even found themselves onto T.V.’s “Dantes Cove” with a remix of Easter Bradford’s “Relationship Destruction Machine”. The full catalogue will be made available via soundclick.com in the very near future.
From there Sitorimon turned back to writing and performing his own music and began to perform live in 2005. He recorded his first demo “The Foretold Demos” in 2006 and his debut full length album “Live Alone” was released in 2007 following the unmastered release of “Sessions 2006″. Both albums were one take runs in the recording studio treated like a live show but without the audience there to see it. Yes, there are mistakes but that’s part of being live! The first studio album “Runeology” was due at the end of 2009 however due to the recession it is was cut from a 2 disc session to a single disc album which will be released early 2010.
MAP International is Sitorimon’s official charity of endorsement.
